Proof of deposit for mortgage

I've been asked by my mortgage adviser to provide proof of deposit.

Problem is it's split over 4 or 5 accounts. Do I need to put it all together? Can I print off the internet or does it have to be a real statement? Costs £5 to print a statement off with Halifax.

I'm also told my solicitor will ask for the same nearer the time.
