Hello
Really quick one.
We have sold my fiances property and temporarily moved in with parents so as to be "chain free" (and because it's taken a year to sell and we didn't want to risk losing the buyer). We are now looking at properties to buy - if we apply for a mortgage say in the next month will it be a major issue that my fiance is shown on the electoral roll at her old address (we have applied for the change but it takes a couple of months apparently)?
Secondly, I am a police officer with about 8 years service. I am due to transfer this month from one force to another, which I imagine counts as a new employer and thus new job? There is no probationary period or anything, I simply continue at the same rank and salary for a new force. Again, is this likely to cause an issue in the mortgage application?
Very briefly, the circs are 220k property on 72k combined income, 10% deposit, no adverse credit. Looking at Britannia "share to buy" 3.79% lifetime discount.
Many thanks for any pearls of wisdom
Joe
