Hi. I see there is advice about this from 2006 but things may have changed since the credit crunch. I started a new job as a Senior Officer in January. Different local authority and a higher grade job but the essentially the same, but I'm on six months probabtion. Some LAs do this, some don't, this one does. My husband spoke to the mortgage advisor at his bank and he said no chance until I'd finished my probabtion. We assumed all other lenders would say the same. Anyone know a lender who would say yes? We've got £100k from previous house sale and are looking for approx £80-100K morgtage. Credit ref should be OK, no bad history.
