I have been lurking on these forums for a few months now during my house selling and now buying but today I signed up as I have a question.
So after finding a buyer and striking a deal on a nice new build house ouy buyers suddenly lost their buyer. The new build company have now stepped in to offer to buy our buyers house, although the deal has been alterered a bit to reflect their costs for this etc.
Basically this bit has been a saga and its now just come down to £1000 to be found somewhere in the deal or them allowing us to complete a month later than they would like! I believe it will be sorted but its likely they will want a very quick exchange as a result.
My question is really about whether its too early to start my formal mortgage application? I have a DIP and as far as I am concerned I know all of our figures down to the penny but the deal hasn't quite been formally rubber stamped.
