I was preparing to view a respossed house this weekend (to live in not BTL). The house appears in pretty good shape with fully fitted bathrooms in place. However, the previous owners have completely removed the kitchen - there is a designated kitchen area but nothing in it.
I have today been advised by a friend that it will be very hard to get a mortgage for this property in its current state.
Does anyone know if this is the case? If so, is this property only available to cash buyers?
