Conveyancing - what do I have to do...??

Approval from Nationwide today - whoooooooooooo!!!

So next stage conveyancing, which is being done by a friend of ours.

I don't really "get" what is so complicated about conveyancing, but at this stage is there any active involvement from myself required, other to prod the process along from time to time and stumping up funds at completion...?

It's a relatively new build so don't anticipate any real issues with surveys, paperwork etc.
