Have we been approved the mortgage!!!!!

Hi Guys

We currently have a mortgage with Santander but have applied to port our mortgage as well as borrow a little more money so's we can move to a new house. Full application went in via mortgage broker a week ago, Santander have arranged a mortgage valuation which we have upgraded to a home buyers survey. Does this mean the mortgage has been approved?. What else have Santander got to check??? if anything
