New Buy mortgage completion

Hi All,

We are due to complete on a New Buy Mortgage, however, the builder has advised us that once the CML has been completed they cannot complete for another 14 days due to government rules.

We've asked the bank and solicitors and they aren't aware of this.

Has anybody else heard of this or experienced this?
