Some advice please
I have an existing mortgage with Nationwide of £86,500. I have sold my flat and am getting a mortgage on a house for £195,000. I have 30k (15%) deposit to put down, my credit file is excellent score of 968 and I have 1 car debt in my name. Never missed a mortgage payment.
I applied through my broker two weeks ago. They first asked for proof of deposit, done. Then bank statements, done. They've credit checked me twice for identification and for mortgage amount. Now theyre saying they will issue a decision on the decision in principle next week as its gone to underwriters for a decision.
Does this seem right??
