Made an application to the co-op bank on Monday for a fairly straight-forward mortgage application. It was however referred to the underwriters as my husband has only been with his current company for 3 months (same type of job in the same industry as his last role). We were told a decision in principle would come back within 48 hours but I'm still waiting and now getting a little anxious. Does anyone else have any recent dealings with the co-op bank and their underwriters?
