Some advice please, I will try and keep brief!
Iam 50 and my husband is 57 in september. A few years back we had quite a few financial problems, I went bankrupt at the time now the 6 years is a couple of months away .
We managed to get a mortgage 5 years ago we had a large deposit due to my mum ,it was first with mortgages plc then they sold it to kensington.It has only 5 years to go, and I would like to remortgage , over a longer period for some kind of stability the rate is good at moment 3.49% due to original plc contract.
The house is worth about 280k the mortgage is 142k.
money into house is approx £42000 PART Of that is husbands naval pension of 11000 a year.
Also current mortgage is intrest only so understand will probadly have to get repayment.
All payments are up to date.
