Hi everyone, this has probably been posted on here before, I have searched and cannot come up with anything, sorry in advance if I have missed it. I was just wondering what I do about an incorrect date of settlement on my mortgage account, I wouldn't be bothered for a few weeks but after checking my credit report with both Experian and Equifax it would seem that Northern Rock did not bother to report settlement of my account for 7 Years, it was paid off in full as I moved house in May 2002, Northern Rock have not bothered to close it until May 2009 (should have dropped off my credit report in 2008!!!) I have messaged Equifax about it but still awaiting a reply and knowing that Northern Rock don't bother to reply (I have had dealings with them since) I was wondering where I go next?
