Can anyone recommend an independent mortgage broker?

As the title suggests - I am looking to speak to an independent broker (as opposed to whole of market with commission). Looking to buy in London as a FTB and wondered whether or not any of you have any recommendations?

Am I right in understand that broker's can have a little more clout in securing a mortgage?

As a rough guide - how much should I anticipate a broker's fees to be?
