We have had a letter from FriendsLife informing us that our endowment policy is maturing soon. Unfortunately, according to their records, the policy is still assigned to Abbey National, which of course was taken over by Santander. We paid off our mortgage some time ago. Before this we transferred our mortgage to the Coventry Building Society. We need a letter to send to FriendsLife to say that Abbey National no longer have an interest in the policy otherwise FriendsLife will send the money to them. Unfortunately the address they hold, is for an Abbey National Branch that no longer exists. There is no Santander Branch there either. Need advice on what to do. Is there an address I can write to?
